IT Project Manager

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><span>Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.</span></li><li><span>Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.</span></li><li><span>Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.</span></li><li><span>Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.</span></li><li><span>Report and escalate to management as needed.</span></li><li><span>Perform risk management to minimize project risks.</span></li><li><span>Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.</span></li><li><span>Ensure resource availability and allocation.</span></li><li><span>Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.</span></li><li><span>Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key requirements:</b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</span></li><li><span>At least 4-6 years of experience in IT project management, and proven working experience in project management (Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred).</span></li><li><span>Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (SaaS and PaaS).</span></li><li>Knowledge of SAP and/or Salesforce would be ideal.</li><li><span>Language Skills: Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish.</span></li><li><span>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</span></li><li><span>Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc), methodologies, and best practices.</span></li><li><b><span>Skills</span></b><span>: Customer orientation, multitasking, attention to details, project management, organizational skills, problem solving, analysis, resourcefulness.</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Axalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
