Industrial IoT Implementation Specialist

Overview:

Ford Manufacturing IT is working on developing the smartest factories in the world through enhanced automation and connectivity, enabled by advanced Internet of Things(IoT) solutions utilizing advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. As part of this, a new Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Platform has been established to align existing initiatives, enable development of new scalable solutions, and drive democratization of data and analytics. We are looking for an Implementation Specialist with experience in implementing software products in manufacturing who is driven to succeed and contribute to the evolution of our ever-changing product suite.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

*Implement existing and new IIoT software applications across global manufacturing sites

*Engage plant personnel to push technological capabilities forward

*Work as a collaborative team member with business partners, developers, and product management

*Provide significant input into the evolution of IIoT products through experiences gained during implementation and meetings with end users.

*Help product managers assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints

*Improve product implementation process through input from product team & plant engineers

*Conduct training, user assistance sessions, troubleshooting as appropriate during implementation

*Conduct user testing, interviews, and analysis

*Produce materials for product management team members to communicate implementation roadmaps, requirements, and issues.

 

Required Qualifications: 

*Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing technology or similar technical degree

*3+ Years of experience implementing and integrating technical software products in a manufacturing environment

*1+ years of experience consulting on application improvements with product management and product ownership

*Experience in manufacturing-centric design

*Ability to work with in-plant personnel as required to gather requirements, address concerns, and meet implementation goals

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

*Experience working directly with manufacturing personnel to implement new technology and processes

*Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills, and engaging presentation style.

*Ability to work as a global team member, as well as independently, in a changing environment and managing multiple priorities.

*Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with application implementation teams, IT project teams, business customers, and end users.

*Ability to deliver work within deadlines.
