We’ve done 14 acquisitions to date and we plan to increase the pace and scale of acquisitions in the years ahead, to align and underpin our key areas for growth.  For an acquisition to be successful, it must be integrated successfully in order to maximise bringing the opportunities presented by bringing our two organisations together. </p><p>In an integration, the People element is critical.  We have to win hearts and minds of the people in the acquired company and take them through a journey of getting to know Version 1 and the people in it and our quarterly rhythm and all that involves, whilst continuing to enable them to develop their own career and deliver for their customers. It can be a difficult time with a lot of change and it can feel uncertain. </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are setting up a permanent and newly formed integration team, made up of people from HR, Finance and IT. This is a really exciting, varied and challenging role. From planning and setting a people approach for each individual integrations to getting to know the people and bringing them on that journey, managing change and transitioning people processes, this role will play a crucial part in all ongoing integrations at Version 1. </p><p>You will need to be able to juggle priorities across multiple simultaneous integrations and key stakeholders, working with other Integration Consultants (Stream Leads) as well as key stakeholders from across the business.</p><p>This is a really exciting and high-profile role in the organisation.  Equally, it is not for the faint-hearted: there are continuous and significant challenges, pressure and change and you must be someone who adapts well to continuously changing priorities and deadlines that must be met.  You’ll have a reputation as being calm in the face of pressure and someone who thrives on achieving outcomes in difficult circumstances.</p><p><strong>What will you do: </strong></p><ul><li>Own the Due Diligence of the People aspect of an acquisition: this means you need to get involved in the detail before we agree to buy a company and identify and spot the people opportunities and the people risks and report those back to the team.</li><li>You will make recommendations and judgements as to whether there are reasons we should/shouldn’t proceed with the acquisition based on your findings. You’ll report on all your Due Diligence people findings and initial opportunities for alignment</li><li>Build strong relationships with senior and key people in the acquired company, so that you can guide the People stream with empathy, having built trust and understanding with your new colleagues.</li><li>Formulate an integration and retention plan specific to the company and people joining us. This means making recommendations on the timing of when we should move them onto Version 1 processes.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee all ‘people’ related actions relating to employee experience, people operations and talent development.</li><li>Be involved in continuously standardising and enhancing the integration process so that the lessons learned from each successive integration are applied</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Strong communication skills, able to work with senior managers using the appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style. To be specific, this will include being able to pull together excellent Powerpoints and plans to ensure everyone is aligned and clear on the plan.</li><li>You will be known as someone who can write clearly, concisely and compellingly.</li><li>Strong planning and organizing skills, ability to see the big picture</li><li>Strong focus on Excellence: detail, errorless delivery, logical reasoning will be strengths</li><li>Proactive with a can-do-attitude, coming up with solutions</li><li>Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)<br/>  </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Before you apply, here are some of our benefits.
