Physician Assistant - Surgery/Robotics (26410)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Surgery-Robotics team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. As part of the nation’s largest municipal healthcare system, Jacobi (a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center) and NCB (a 213-bed facility) provide high-quality, comprehensive care to diverse patient populations. • Robotic Physician Assistant assists the Robotic Surgery Attending.
• Conducts examinations of new patients, writes treatment plans, performs and interprets diagnostic tests and conducts outpatient procedures.
• Will also assists in conducting hospital rounds, tasks and other procedures including performance improvement projects, research, and educational activities.
• The Robotic Physician Assistant will also assist in the Operating Room with all Robotic Surgery cases.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NYS registration and certification as a Physician Assistant
• NCCPA certification
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Strong ability to work in a team-based environment
• This is a union position (1199 SEIU) with benefits provided by 1199 SEIU
• Salary Range: $127,308 - $169,744*
