The Impact: This role facilitates the implementation of new environmental markets, helping existing markets evolve and mature, enabling connectivity between markets and fostering data transparency and efficiency. 

What’s in it for you: This role will require working closely with the Product, Operations, and Technology teams as well as clients. The candidate will work independently to deliver key requirements documentation based on defined timelines, have analytical skills to examine and evaluate complex business scenarios, assess client needs/requirements and possess strong communication skills in order to collaborate across internal teams and with the client. Knowledge of the latest practices in user experience and interface design is going to be a very strong advantage.

Responsibilities: As an Environmental Solutions Product Manager, you will:

  • Write and maintain functional and business requirements for the Environmental Solutions domain with a strong focus on user journey and UI design analysis

  • Collaborate with clients through working sessions to drive and develop user stories

  • Manage and support the product throughout the product lifecycle

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, and Development, to deliver on both client and strategic initiatives

  • Review and analyze data components to answer client queries; liaise with Technical, Product, and Operations teams as required.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and Production deployments with client.

  • Support the Commercial Team in developing materials and presentations to help sell the product

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ professional work experience in a product or analytical role within the carbon markets and/or financial technology company; expertise in registry platforms a plus but not essential.

  • Experience in writing functional and business requirements/user stories

  • Proficiency with UX design tools like Figma

  • An undergraduate and postgraduate degree in relevant subjects such as Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Environmental Economics, Development Economics or Environmental Sciences or relevant work experience

  • The candidate should be conscious of detail and numerically proficient with natural curiosity and an innovative approach to problem solving.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and influence discussions with industry stakeholders and clients.
