Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Network/System Administrator II to support Department of Defense (DoD) Special Access Program (SAP) environments at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The selected candidate will provide administration, maintenance, and operational support for secure networks, servers, and enterprise systems supporting classified missions.
This position supports Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities for organizations including the U.S. Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other DoD agencies. The ideal candidate possesses strong systems administration experience, SAP experience, and a solid understanding of enterprise network operations, cybersecurity principles, and virtualization technologies.
Responsibilities

Manage daily operations and administration of classified network and system environments.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.

Support LAN, WAN, virtualization, and enterprise network infrastructure.

Maintain system performance, security, availability, and operational readiness.

Execute Operations and Maintenance (O&M) procedures and maintain associated documentation.

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and system administration documentation.

Monitor network and system performance using enterprise monitoring and SIEM tools.

Create and manage event alerts, security monitoring rules, and reporting functions.

Assist with vulnerability management, system hardening, and cybersecurity compliance efforts.

Support incident response activities and assist with cybersecurity investigations as required.

Manage software updates, patching, and configuration management activities.
-
Support virtualization platforms and enterprise server environments.
-
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and mission personnel.

Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and cybersecurity tools.
-
Ensure compliance with DoD, RMF, STIG, and security policy requirements.
Required Qualifications

Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
-
Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
-
3–5 years of related Network/System Administration experience.
-
Experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP).
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience (4 years).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong customer service and technical support skills.
