Territory Sales Manager (Healthcare) (Northeast US) (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan within the assigned regional areas.

  • Act as the primary contact for strategic end-users and distributor representatives.

  • Manage distributor relationships, including sales representatives and management.

  • Understand total distribution costs, with a focus on organizational profitability.

  • Engage directly with new and existing healthcare end-users by: cultivating relationships with key users and influencers; understanding customer contamination control methods; proactively promoting Vileda Professional systems to address specific application opportunities; exploring new product development for higher volume opportunities; utilizing an insight-led selling approach (Challenger Sale).

Qualifications:

  • B.S. is preferred (preferably in Marketing, Management, Economics, Sales, Business Administration, or Microbiology)

  • Home office preferred in these cities/states:  Philadelphia, PA; Newark, NJ; New York City, NY; Hartford, CT; Boston, MA

  • Travel required as needed (approximately 40 to 60%)

  • Experience with Insight Led Selling / selling differentiated products (Challenger Sale)

  • Proven experience building business within the Healthcare marketplace

  • Mechanical cleaning / disinfection knowledge.

  • Understanding of 4 End User Groups: Healthcare Laundries; Hospital & Long-Term Care Programs; Contracted Managed Services; Linen/GPO Distribution programs

  • Additional prior job experience may include Environmental Services (EVS), Infection Preventionist (IP), Nurse/Nursing Manger

  • High level understanding of Microsoft Office (Primarily: Excel, Word and Power Point)

  • High level understanding documenting a sales funnel to include process and activities
