Track Foreman – Central Track Services (Traveling Position)
Starting at $30/hour + benefits, mileage, and per diem (based on experience)

Job Summary:
Road & Rail Services is looking for an experienced and motivated Track Foreman to join our Central Track Services team. This is a traveling position with responsibility for supervising railroad track construction and maintenance crews at various locations. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong communication skills and hands-on experience in track operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct daily work of track construction and maintenance crews
• Oversee track repair and construction projects; maintain accurate records and reports
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Conduct job-specific and regulatory training for team members
• Perform administrative duties including inventory tracking and documentation
• Operate and instruct others on the use of loaders, hand tools, power tools, and specialty railroad equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the railroad industry
• Proven knowledge of railroad track construction and maintenance
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Experience with safety practices and risk management in the rail industry
• Ability to train and lead personnel effectively

Work Conditions:

• Up to 50% travel required
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
• Flexible schedule including weekends and on-call as needed
• Physical activity including bending, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces
• Ability to work independently and wear all required PPE
