Golf Maintenance Associate

Cherokee Hills Golf Club at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is hiring Golf Maintenance Associates as a seasonal position to provide essential support to the golf course maintenance team, contributing to the overall quality and playability of the course. The Golf Maintenance Associate performs a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, and general groundskeeping, working primarily outdoors in varied weather conditions.

• Operate golf course maintenance equipment, small power tools, and manually operated tools.
• Mow and trim greens, aprons, tees, and surrounding areas using mowers and string trimmers.
• Edge cart paths and maintain sand bunkers (edging, raking).
• Set tee markers and cups on greens daily.
• Maintain ball washers and replace tee towels and flags as needed.
• Remove debris, repair divots in tee and drop areas, and maintain flower beds.
• Operate equipment efficiently and contribute to the daily maintenance of golf equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in golf maintenance preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of the game of golf.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to plan short- and long-range goals.
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional status with guests and vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain close working relationships with management and co-workers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and exposure to chemicals.
