Senior Process Modeling Analyst

Citi's Process Modeling & Operations team supports business process simplification efforts through current and target state process modeling.

We are offering a key and challenging role in this team, where the Senior Process Modeling Analyst will will work alongside and in close partnership with the EBA (Enterprise Business Architecture) teams. EBA also provides the businesses and functions with ongoing governance, program oversight, metrics and reporting to ensure consistency, control, and accountability as it relates to the program. 

Responsibilities:

• Leads teams in the execution of process modeling and process simplification projects to increase operational efficiency, reduce process variation and gaps in controls or customer experience; increase growth & innovation

• Prioritizes and plans portfolio of meaningful initiatives across businesses, in collaboration with business and reengineering partners, including the development of project funnel & individual project scoping

• Interfaces with different lines of businesses and stakeholders at all levels

• Responsible for leading cross functional & business wide process mapping and business process simplification/reengineering initiatives

• Reports about project status to Senior Management

• Integrates process modeling and business process simplification/reengineering approach and methodology, as an enabler to the successful execution of the organization's business strategy

• Instills a continuous improvement mindset within and across all lines of businesses

Minimum qualifications:

• 3 - 7 years experience in a related role, preferably with experience in Financial Services or Consulting business

• Process modeling experience with a proven track record of successful projects

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change. Proven track record in terms of evaluating process performance across key metrics and envisioning ways to simplify/reengineer the process to create significant improvement across all key variables

• Thorough project planning skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using English language

• Fluency in English is a must

Preferred qualifications:

• People management skills

• Functional and Team management

• Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of banking operations including regulatory requirements and re-engineering

• High level of discretion and judgment in the application of re-engineering principles

• Knowledge and experience with process management tools, such as IBM Blueworks Live, Microsoft Visio, MEGA Hopex

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
