About This Role:

 The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for the modeling team, supporting client projects, and will be in charge of programming and statistical analysis, data specifications, technical design, data management, and results reporting for several simultaneous research projects. This person will utilize a variety of technical tools and software to maintain and develop statistical and econometric models, monitoring metrics, and manipulate, transform and analyze data. The candidate will work with a cross-functional team of statisticians, operations research analysts, economists, and consultants to implement statistical and econometric modeling methodologies to forecast and monitor revenue collection performance. 
 

Responsibilities:
  • Data management and analysis tasks across multiple projects for internal and external customers.
  • Extract, transform, load, and clean medical claims and revenue data.
  • Maintain and enhance modeling applications written in SAS that predict revenue collection performance, referral/claim/prescription/call center demand, and medical care pricing.
  • Participate in systems development projects (such as corporate data warehouses) through systems and data analysis, application development, system testing and debugging, as needed.
  • Provide statistical expertise using traditional and up-to-date methodologies, as well as conduct literature reviews to research methods, adapt and utilize methods for specific projects.
